We just went to San Angel Inn.
Our waiter and manager were great. He was funny and efficient. He and the manager were talking sports with my brother in law (Red Sox / Yankees )
Food was delicious. Love the ambience. -

I'm a passholder, and this used to be my favorite restaurant. However, my last visit was the worst service I've ever received in any restaurant ever.
I made a reservation for just me, and, as per usual, the front desk staff and other employees were extremely helpful and pleasant.
However, my server Rosario was extremely rude. She rushed me through ordering, and seemed irritated when I wasn't ready to order when she first arrived. She brought me my chips and drink in a timely manner, but after that she never came back to check on me. I ran out of water, and after waiting at least 15 minutes, I had to ask the neighboring table's server for water (he was very friendly and conversational, despite not being my waiter).
When I was finishing up (I still had large amounts of food left), Rosario came back and curtly said "Are you ready to pay?" I was really surprised since she hadn't even asked me if my meal was okay! I said that I guess I was ready, but I would like a refill of water. When she came back, she refilled my water and then thumped the portable credit card machine in front of me. She gestured to the machine and stated "How much do you want to tip?" I was SHOCKED! I felt super pressured and intimidated. Furthermore, I barely got to see the receipt, and didn't even get a chance to fill it out or sign before she snapped the billfold shut and took it away.
I tried rectifying this with Guest Relations, and on my first visit the day of the incident, I was told the manager would be contacting me. Of course, I never received a phone call or email. When I came to follow up the next day, I was brushed off, and told to email a general address, despite what I was told yesterday.
I'm really disappointed in both Disney and San Angel Inn. Fortunately, since I paid with a credit card and didn't sign, I can dispute with my credit card company. I think it is ridiculous that there is no customer support for these situations. So, I will NOT be returning to San Angel Inn, despite their awesome food and typically stellar staff. -

I had lunch here recently and it was a mediocre experience. The service and food were fine, but the seating arrangements here are a bit annoying. The tables are simply way too close to each other.
I actually specifically requested a table located along the outer perimeter of the restaurant--as these tables typically aren't as badly clustered as middle tables--but the hostess apparently ignored my request when she seated us right in the middle of the restaurant.
To make matters worse and to further reinforce why I hate this type of seating, I was seated only inches away from a young, very whiny child whose parents provided her with a cell phone to watch loud YouTube videos throughout my entire lunch. Downright obnoxious. -

Cool place at Epcot to dine, but given all the other dining options at Epcot, I'm not sure we're going to be making this a regular spot.
My husband loves dining at the Blue Bayou at Disneyland, and the same restaurant with a different menu also exists at the Tokyo Disneyland. In terms of atmosphere, San Angel Inn is similar - it's in perpetual twilight near a boat ride.
The service is what you'd expect at Disney, friendly and efficient, and the food was ranged from okay to good, but nothing spectacular.
I really enjoyed the tortilla soup, and that was probably my favorite from the items we ordered. The guacamole was also good. However, the caesar salad was disappointing, the mole sauce a little too sweet and bitter, and the verde sauce a bit too sour.
With all the other great places to eat at Epcot, including the pop up stands during the festivals, I'm not sure we'll choose this again anytime soon. -

The food was great but the service was not great. The waiter seemed so annoyed to have been serving us. We had a little one with us and were busy with her and he kept rushing us to place and order or to take our plates when we were just getting started to eat. I was looking forward to coming for years but after that not coming back.
